Our PGA Pro Instructors have an average of 12 years of experience with golf instruction. Plus, all instructors have to go through a series of video analysis tests and training before they can become certified MySwingOnline Instructors.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our instructors.
In fact, if you are not completely satisfied with your video analysis and recommendations,
we'll give you your money back! You will be amazed at what you learn about your golf swing when you see it on video. The side-by-side view with a touring Pro is worth the price of analysis alone! How else will you ever get the chance to see your swing stance and setup next to that of a touring pro?

Beliefs:
The ball flight never lies and the truth starts at impact.
What effects impact?
1. Setup
2. Body movement
3. Plane
You must set up athletically, to move your body correctly to be able to put the club on a repeatable plane.

The easiest way to return the golf club to the ball properly is to keep the club on plane. Never allow a student to work on 'what to stop doing wrong in their swinG" but, instead, to work on what motion to replace the old habit.

Michael Dickson
I have played competitive golf all my life. I decided to make my passion my career and attended Ferris State University for their Professional Golf Management program. I graduated in December 2002 and was elected to the PGA of America in December 2003. Since then, I have spent most of my time as the First Assistant at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland where I run the golf operations and teach. Teaching has become my new passion and that is why I think MySwingOnline is an awesome program to help EVERY golfer improve their game through the use of video.
Beliefs:
I have worked under many different instructors and have collect most of their knowledge, with a couple tweeks, into my own teaching philosophy. The one thing that I have learned from listening to multiple instructors, is it usually is the same information, but just explained in different “languages”. The art of teaching is not just finding what the person is doing wrong, but communicating it to them in their “language” so they can make the change and improve thier game.
My philosophy is based off of the fundamentals of the grip, stance, posture, and how they all inter-twine to create one single motion of the golf swing. The difficult part with this is if any of those items are off or in a bad position, it will affect the entire swing and force other problems to occur.
Certifications:
PGA Class A-8 (Elected December 2003);
CMAA (Club Managers Association of America);
AGM (Association of Golf Merchandisers);
Callaway Elite Staff Member;
Certified fitter by Callaway, Cobra, Titleist, Mizuno, and Ping

Beliefs:
When I started teaching Golf, I was amazed at the different teaching techniques, and beliefs. So I researched as many as I could. The facts showed no two were the same. So where to start? It comes down to 2 things. What swing can be replicated, and repeated. 2nd. Who teaches that? That narrowed the field considerably. Again after much research, I spent a considerable amount of time with Dr. Ralph Mann. Who along with Top 50 Teaching Professional Fred Griffin opened my eyes to another way of Teaching a complicated Sport such as Golf. Bookshelves are full of self help books, however MODEL GOLF was certainly different. The reason? Model golf deals in fact, not opinion. Model Golf deals in reality, not fantasy. The one other fact that won me over is there is no quick fix. If you believe in long-termed improvement. Then I'm your guy. I believe in drills, I just believe there is a better way to use them.
